Welcome to the Try My Closet Vendor Marketplace — a creative hub where brands, stylists, and entrepreneurs can showcase their collections and connect with customers who wear what speaks.

This guide outlines how to set up your vendor shop, marketplace standards, payout structure, and available marketing opportunities.

About the Marketplace

The Try My Closet Vendor Marketplace is designed to highlight quality, originality, and professionalism. Each vendor receives:

  • A dedicated vendor shop page on TryMyCloset.com
  • Automatic payouts based on your chosen payment method
  • Access to homepage features, live shopping events, and targeted marketing campaigns

Once approved, your products appear under your vendor shop and across the Try My Closet marketplace for increased visibility and reach.

Commissions and Fees

Transparency is key to building a trusted community.

Commission Policy

  • A 3% commission is applied to all product sales.
  • This commission is paid by the customer, not the seller.
  • Sellers receive full payout of their product price without deduction for commission fees.

Automatic Payouts

  • Payouts are sent automatically via your selected payout method during registration.
  • Vendors receive their funds promptly once orders are marked as fulfilled and verified.
  • Any third-party service fees will be communicated in advance.

Third-Party Sales and Fees

  • Additional fees may apply if products are sold via external marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Etsy, Amazon).
  • All listings on the Try My Closet marketplace are automatically opted out of third-party sales by default.
  • Sellers wishing to enable these integrations must contact the administrator to opt in.

Subscription Plans for Marketplace Exposure

Vendors can boost visibility and sales through one of our three marketing subscription tiers, each designed to help your shop stand out.

Spotlight Plan — $12 / 2 Weeks

  • 1 live feature during the 2-week subscription period
  • Showcase up to 3 products
  • Includes access to all standard marketing benefits
  • Ideal for small shops or first-time vendors 

Showcase Plan — $25 / Month

  • 1 live feature per month
  • Display up to 8 products
  • Homepage exposure through featured vendor listings
  • Includes all standard marketing benefits and social media promotion 

Premier Plan — $60 / 3 Months

  • 1 live show co-host segment (20 minutes per month)
  • 2 live show features
  • Display up to 20 products during live events
  • Featured placement on homepage
  • Includes all standard marketing benefits plus extended campaign promotion 

One-Time Marketing Plan — $15 / 2 Weeks

  • Short-term feature that includes all standard benefits
  • Does not auto-renew
  • Includes targeted social ads tailored to your shop audience

Vendor Guidelines

To maintain a professional, trusted marketplace experience, all vendors must adhere to the following standards:

1. Shop Presentation

  • Upload a clear logo and/or lifestyle image for your shop page.
  • Your visuals should represent your brand aesthetic clearly and consistently.

2. Product Images

  • Product images must be professional-quality, featuring only the product being sold.
  • No clutter, or watermarks other than on digital products are permitted in listing photos.
  • Lifestyle shots may be used in marketing but must maintain a clean, polished aesthetic.
  • Shop Pages may be disabled if the Seller Profile does not meet these requirements.

3. Product Descriptions

  • Write accurate, detailed descriptions including materials, size, color, and variations.
  • Misleading or incomplete listings may be subject to review or removal.

4. Categorization

  • Assign your listings to the correct categories.
  • If a category is missing, contact the administrator to request its addition.

5. Prohibited Products

  • No counterfeit, illegal, or restricted materials may be sold.
  • Violations may result in immediate suspension.

6. Order Fulfillment

  • Vendors must ship all orders within 3 business days unless stated otherwise for made-to-order items.
  • Accurate tracking information must be provided.
  • Delays or repeated fulfillment issues may affect account standing.

Marketing and Featured Sellers

All vendors receive access to our standard marketing plan, which includes:

  • Social media promotion across Try My Closet channels
  • Marketplace exposure through product discovery
  • Inclusion in select live shopping segments

Featured Seller Benefits

Vendors subscribed to a plan (Spotlight, Showcase, or Premier) are eligible for:

  • Homepage placement
  • Live show participation
  • Targeted ad campaigns and additional exposure 
  • Contact support to select which items you’d like featured — otherwise, products will be chosen at random from your active listings.
